KitchenReady

Site-survey and installation-readiness software for foodservice equipment dealers

Most installation problems are survey problems. The unit fits the drawing but not the doorway; the gas line is where nobody looked; the freight elevator is two inches too shallow. KitchenReady gives dealers a structured way to capture the site once, in the field, so the crew that shows up on delivery day already knows what they are walking into.

KitchenReady currently runs at kitchenready.10hours.ai. Its long-term customer-facing home will be kitchenready.app.

Who it's for

Equipment dealers, project managers, and installation crews

Lifecycle stage

Survey & install

What it's for

  • Surveys that live in a phone camera roll, a notebook, and one person's memory
  • Access constraints — doors, corridors, turns, elevators, thresholds — discovered on delivery day
  • Utility rough-ins that do not match what the equipment actually needs
  • Re-deliveries, return trips, and change orders caused by information nobody wrote down
  • Handoffs between sales, project management, and the install crew that lose detail every time
Capabilities

What it does today

Guided site-survey checklists built around how dealers actually walk a kitchen

Captures door widths, corridor and elevator access, clearances, and utility rough-ins

Uses field checks to surface delivery-path and installation details before delivery day

Produces a printable survey report with captured entries, photos, and layouts

Captures photos, video, and voice notes within the survey record

How it works

The workflow, step by step

  1. Set up the site and the equipment list

Start from the project: the location, the rooms involved, and the equipment being placed.

  2. Walk the site with a guided survey

Prompts follow the order a surveyor actually walks a kitchen — receiving door, path of travel, final placement, utilities.

  3. Capture measurements, photos, and notes in context

Each measurement and photo attaches to the specific piece of equipment or location it belongs to, not a generic album.

  4. Surface readiness gaps

Where the captured site data conflicts with what the equipment needs, the gap is flagged while there is still time to fix it.

  5. Share one survey record

Project managers, install crews, and the customer read the same record instead of three partial versions.

Where it stands — In dealer testing

  • KitchenReady is in dealer testing. We are working with a small number of dealers and changing the product based on what their surveyors actually do in the field.
  • It is a standalone application. It does not replace your ERP, quoting system, or project management tool, and it does not share a database with our other products.
  • We are not publishing customer counts or performance claims for it yet, because the honest answer is that it is still early.
